Austin Dillon scheduled to race Dirt Late Model at Tri-City Motor Speedway

AUBURN, MICHIGAN - Tri-City Motor Speedway (TCMS) is proud to announce the details of the American Ethanol Late Model Championship race with Richard Childress Racing’s Austin Dillon, driver of the No. 3 Dow/American Ethanol Chevrolet SS in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series on Wednesday, August 24, 2016. Dillon is scheduled to be driving in this American Ethanol Late Model race. On top of the fan’s witnessing the NASCAR Sprint Cup driver racing at TCMS, they will see a double header of racing with another 40 lap main event in the IMCA Modified division.

With the support of race night sponsors: Ferrea, Midland Steel and Krapohl’s Body Shop and Custom Accessories, Tri-City Motor Speedway is able to bring a show of this caliber to Auburn. TCMS CEO Steve Puvalowski said “We are gearing up for another sell-out crowd for this race. We had a sell-out earlier this season with the winged sprints and our team is ready serve up another exciting night of racing for all ages. Online tickets have been selling like wildfire, and we expect there to be few left by the time race day gets here. We are lucky to have NASCAR driver Austin Dillon racing in Auburn and it will be an exciting night for all.”

The American Ethanol Late Model race will have the highest payout Tri-City Motor Speedway has put on the line for a Late Model race. The payout might even attract some of the World of Outlaw Late Model drivers traveling through the state the week of August 24. Both the Late Models and IMCA Modifieds will have preliminary heat and qualifying races to earn their spot in to their 40 lap main events.

In addition to this race announcement, TCMS has lined up an exciting close to the 2016 season with races of all varieties for every kind of fan. From Kids and Autograph night to Wingless Sprints, and the 6th Annual Battle By the Bay. Friday nights at Tri-City Motor Speedway continues to bring fun, family-friendly entertainment to the Great Lakes Bay Region.
