Escape Cabin Fever!

Transform your quality of life as millions of Chinese have. “The ancient art of Tai Chi uses gentle flowing movements to reduce the stress of today’s busy lifestyles and improves health” according to the Mayo Clinic.Students and teachers from around the state will explore the latest developments and techniques. This event will be hosted by SVSU/OLLI’s Tai Chi teacher and founding member of Cloud Hands Michigan, Jim Bush. There will be four morning and four afternoon sessions focusing on interesting aspects of these Arts, led by outstanding instructors from around the State of Michigan.

The sessions will be relaxed and suitable for beginners as well as more advanced practitioners. There will be sufficient breaks, with lunch included in the cost. Wear comfortable clothing for movement.

Festival Instructors Include: Dan Jones, Bob Teachout and Jann Nestell, Lansing; Web Kirksey, Ann Arbor; Kaye Thomas-Hogan, Grayling; Ethel Lobrigas, Fremont; Ed Kehoe, Kalamazoo; and Jim Bush of Saginaw.

The SVSU Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is a member-based organization that offers non-credit educational programs & travel opportunities for the over-50 population.  It is currently in its twelfth year of operation and has more than 1400 members.
