Psychological Safety in the Workplace
Studies show that psychological safety allows for moderate risk-taking, speaking your mind, creativity, and sticking your neck out without fear of having it cut off. Fundamentally, experiencing psychological safety at work means that you feel comfortable making yourself VULNERABLE in front of the people you see every day. Kasey Fox will share with us ways to ensure that you are providing a psychologically safe workplace for your team.
Kasey Fox: Kasey provides administrative support as the Operations Manager of the Neuroscience Service line at Mid Michigan Health. She has a unique 20 year background in healthcare, leadership, communications, and project management. She received a BS in Exercise Physiology and a MSA in Leadership Administration from Central Michigan University. In her free time she serves on the Board of the Hospital Hospitality House and Midland's Alzheimer's Association and teaches courses in conflict management, emotional intelligence and team building. Out of all her accomplishments she is most proud to be the mother of a very strong-willed and independent 3 year-old-clone of a little girl and a 13 year old rambunctious pup that refuses to act his age.
