    Great Lakes Bay Michigan Works! Modifies Service Delivery in Response to COVID-19 Concerns
    (Great Lakes Bay) -- Effective Tuesday, March 17, Great Lakes Bay Michigan Works! will modify service delivery in its service centers in Bay, Gratiot, Isabella, Midland and Saginaw counties in response to COVID-19 concerns.
    Job seeker services will be available by appointment only. Those who need to drop off paperwork or other materials can do so through the use of the new drop box system at each location. To make an appointment or to speak with staff, call:

    At this time all workshops, job fairs, career assistance orientations and other group activities are suspended until further notice. However, beginning March 20, most workshops will be available online at michiganworks.com.
    In addition, business service team representatives will continue to service area employers via email or by appointment.
    “As the coronavirus continues to spread throughout Michigan, we have a heightened awareness of our responsibility to our employees, job seekers and employers,” says Chris Rishko, chief executive officer. “We are monitoring the situation, updating our approach to service delivery, and cooperating with CDC, state and local health departments.”
