Renue Physical Therapy to offer free athletic taping, stretching and injury prevention for 2023 Bay City St. Patrick’s Day Races
 
Renue Physical therapy will offer free athletic taping and other injury prevention measures for the 2023 Bay City St. Patrick’s Day Races.
 
As a sponsor of the race, Renue will present at the packet pickup expo to be held at Bay City Central on Saturday, March 18^th from 10:00am – 2:00pm. Racers can get athletic taping from an experienced physical therapist, or talk with the Renue team about how to prevent common running injuries like achilles tendon pain, plantar fasciitis, shin splints, IT band pain and more.
 
“The St. Patrick’s Day 5k, 8k and Irish Double are the first big races of the year in Bay City. Especially during cold weather and before getting into the swing of race season, injuries are more likely to happen,” said Renue Marketing Director Kate O’Shea. “Our therapists are passionate about helping people shake the nagging pain that might keep them from feeling their best during the race.”  
 
In addition to the expo, Renue will have a tent at the start/finish line in downtown Bay City on Sunday, March 19th to again offer athletic taping, stretching and injury prevention tips. “Our company headquarters is located in downtown Bay City, so we have a lot of pride in the energy the races and the parade bring,” said O’Shea. “Our team is looking forward to helping everyone have a fun and injury-free race day.”
