Spence Brothers to host subcontractor and supplier outreach events in Clare.
Spence Brothers, a Michigan-headquartered construction manager, is hosting a series of subcontractor and supplier outreach events in advance of upcoming projects totaling over $75 million in construction. The company welcomes both Large and Small Business contractors and suppliers to attend the events.
Information about upcoming project opportunities, schedules, and types of work will be presented at the Doherty Hotel Conference Center on May 30, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The Hotel is located at 604 McEwan Street in Downtown Clare.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about current and upcoming project bidding opportunities, project prequalification processes, Spence Brothers corporate philosophy for subcontracting, and one-on-one networking opportunities with Spence Brothers’ project managers. Beverages will be provided at each event.
Projects to be discussed include, but are not limited to:
- Lake Superior State University Student Housing Renovation and Expansion Program (Sault Ste. Marie)
- Lake Superior State University Center for Freshwater Research and Education (Sault Ste. Marie)
- Lake Superior State University Commons Building (Sault Ste. Marie)

- Doherty Hotel Renovation (Clare)
- Grayling Northern Market (Grayling)
