Stars in the Gardens Event to Benefit Home Care and Hospice Patients
MIDLAND, Mich. – Community members are invited to attend the annual Dow Gardens Christmas Walk, where MyMichigan Home Care will celebrate Stars in the Gardens. The special holiday tribute event will take place from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 7 to 9, and 14 to 16.
A hillside of softly glowing luminarias resting outside the entrance of Dow Gardens provides a peaceful opportunity to reflect and remember loved ones and friends.
A contribution of $25 or more to the MyMichigan Health Foundation enables individuals to honor family and friends, living and deceased, with a handcrafted porcelain ornament. The ornament, along with a card explaining the special program and the name of the donor, will be sent to designees. For orders placed by Nov. 30, 2023, the names of the donors and honorees will be displayed in the Visitors Center Gallery at Dow Gardens during the walk.
Donations of any amount are also accepted for those who do not wish to purchase an ornament. Proceeds from Stars in the Gardens benefit MyMichigan Home Care and MyMichigan Hospice, including the Woodland Hospice House and its patients.
