    MIDLAND, MICHIGAN, April 2— In a significant move that underscores its commitment to innovation and leadership, Three Rivers Corporation has announced a strategic transition within its commercial construction division and leadership team.
     
    Shannon Tait, the Director of Commercial Services, is set to retire on May 1, 2024, after an outstanding career spanning over 35 years in the industry, including more than a decade of dedicated service to Three Rivers Corporation. Thom Laney, a highly accomplished professional within the organization, will be stepping into the Director of Commercial Services role, bringing over 30 years of comprehensive experience in project management and execution.

    Shannon Tait has been a cornerstone of Three Rivers Corporation since joining the team in 2011. Her extensive expertise in managing large-scale, multi-million dollar projects across various sectors—including commercial, healthcare, industrial, and retail—has significantly contributed to the company's success. Notable projects completed under her leadership include the Whiting Forest Canopy Walk, Ellsworth Place in Downtown Midland, and the MyMichigan Health Gerstacker Building on the campus of MyMichigan Medical Center Midland, among many others.

    Thom Laney, who has been with Three Rivers for over six years, is set to take over the Director of Commercial Services role and will join the company's strategic leadership team. Known for his proactive leadership and commitment to quality, Thom has successfully led numerous projects, consistently exceeding project goals through strategic planning, team coordination, and a strong focus on safety and quality assurance. His leadership and project management approach will continue to drive the company's mission forward.
