    Since 1882, the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce has been the premier business leadership organization providing cutting-edge, value-added services to all members of the Bay Area business community, including the Great Lakes Bay Region. We are a membership organization that serves as an ambassador and a liaison between business and other sectors of the Bay Area.

    Strategic Priorities

    The Bay Area Chamber has identified five Strategic Priorities to ensure a focused and cohesive approach to advancing the interests of the business community within the region.

    Advocacy: Maintain a leadership position in the Great Lakes Bay region as an advocate for pro-business policy. 

     

    Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: Prioritize diversity to increase access and participation from Bay County businesses. 

     

    Educational Partnerships: Grow collaborative relationships to support talent development and attraction to the area.

     

    Engagement: Improve engagement and access to programs to enhance membership value. 

     

    Workforce Retention & Attraction: Leverage placemaking and quality of life efforts to attract and retain employees to the region.
