5K-9 Run/Walk - Judy V Spencer Fund

We are excited to announce the return of the Judy V Spencer Fund 5K-9 Run/Walk! Join us by participating in this unique 5K race that lets you bring along your best friend – your dog! Through this race, it is our mission to give hope to survivors of violence by raising awareness, engaging in education with the community, and providing funds to support the boarding costs for pets. All funds raised through this event support the Judy V Spencer Fund held at the Bay Area Women's Center to cover the boarding costs for survivors seeking shelter with their pet. The event is hosted at the Bay City Community Center, 800 John F. Kennedy Dr, Bay City, MI 48706. Race entry comes with a bandana and dog tag. The race is timed and prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in the male and female categories. Packet pickup begins at 7 a.m. You do not need a dog to participate in this timed 5K race. The race has individual start times for runners and walkers with/without dogs so everyone can have an enjoyable race.
