Times are tuff.
Sometimes, our workplaces can provide an escape from the stressors of our personal lives. Other times, we need our personal lives to help de-stress from challenges at work.
Especially in family businesses, the lines between personal and work life can easily be blurred. Our at-home, personal relationships with our family members are inevitably impacted by our interactions at work, and vice versa.
To function most effectively and be optimally successful in our work and personal lives, we must be intentional about our relationships with family members in the personal sphere and within the family enterprise. This intentionality can contribute greatly to maintaining harmony and a mutual, shared vision among the generations working together in the family company.
During the program, “Developing Yourself / Developing Your Family Business,” participants will:- Developed increased self-awareness to tackle those much-needed, yet often difficult intergenerational conversations.
- Review a structured way to align key stakeholders to a long-term shared vision that will endure.
- Provide an action plan outline to move forward.
Pre-Event Registration is required to attend.
This event is free to all SCFB Members & Sponsors, along with their guests. As a one time courtesy, members of the Saginaw Chamber of Commerce, Midland Business Alliance and the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce who are a Family Business Enterprise may also attend to preview our membership based resource center and experience our world class keynote presentations that uniquely pertain to Family Businesses in the GLBR.
