Greater Midland Dow RunWalk

(Midland, MI) – Greater Midland is proud to present our Flagship event (35 years), The Dow RunWalk on Saturday, September 18. A community race in the heart of your community! Join beginners and seasoned races from around the region in a celebration of community. Race Events: Half Marathon, 10K Run, 5K Run, 5K Walk, I Mile Run and Tot Trot. Join us Friday evening (Sept 17) for packet pick up from 3:30 – 6:30PM at the Curling Center. A FREE Eat Great Pop Up Event with food trucks and live music will be held simultaneously in the front parking lot. All are welcome courtesy of Eat Great Food Festival. Bring your whole family for a full morning of fun and let the little ones tackle the Tot Trot; new this year…..a 75-yard dash to the finish! Custom 2021 logoed finishers medals for all Half Marathoners as well as the first 600 in the 10K Run, 5K Run and 5K Walk! Don’t forget you get the 2021 Dow RunWalk shirt with this year’s logo that was designed by Brooke Gledhill, a 2020 graduate of Dow High School! Race day will kick off at 7:30 AM with the Half Marathon, followed by the 5K Run at 7:45 AM, 10K Run at 8:05 AM, 5K Walk 8:30 AM and 1 Mile Run at 9:45 AM with the Tot Trot to follow. Streets on the race course will be closed starting at 7:20 AM and will reopen no later than 11:30 AM. Stick around for post-race family fun with outdoor activities like corn hole, golf, tennis hitting cage, fencing and more. Your whole family is sure to have some fun! Register online or at the Community Center through Thursday, September 16. Starting Friday, September 17, registration is available at the Dow RunWalk Expo/Packet Pick-Up (3:30 PM – 6:30 PM) and race morning Saturday, September 18 (6:45 AM) in the Curling Center.
