The Bay County Historical Society is kicking off the 2024-25 Second Saturday season with our special guest Amberrose Hammond. Mysterious Michigan Author and paranormal researcher Amberrose Hammond will take you on a strange and fun journey into Michigan’s supernatural past through ghosts, legends, monsters, and more as she discusses her latest book, "Mysterious Michigan." Included in this presentation is the fascinating Bay City native Marian Spore Bush. Hammond has been researching the supernatural, weird, and off-beat history of Michigan for over twenty years. Books will be available for purchase. For more than two decades, Amberrose Hammond has been delving deep into Michigan’s eerie and unconventional past. As a passionate lover of local history and cemeteries, she has traveled across Michigan to spread the word about the state’s weirdest and most off-beat tales. Through compelling lectures and historical cemetery tours, Amberrose has captured the imaginations of thousands with her infectious enthusiasm for Michigan’s spooky side.
