Self Love Beauty is bringing you their new series called: Strength from Within Series: A series designed to help you overcome obstacles, thrive and gain confidence. This series will help you go from challenges to acceptance despite objections in life and focuses on specific topics to educate you, to provide community support, teach key skills and provide ways to bring you new confidence. This series will involve topics such as eating disorders, grief, balancing mom life, transitions in life, confidence, mental wellbeing and more. Join Self Love Beauty virtually from May to September during lunch for learning about specific topics. We will keep adding each month. **Session 1: Wednesday, May 6: Topic: Understanding eating, exercise and other behaviors related to Eating Disorders ** Speaker Rebecca Brumm, serves as the Director of Operations for Laureate Eating Disorders Program. Rebecca has a Masters in professional counseling from Central Michigan University. Though she has helped clients through a variety of challenges in her practice as a therapist since 2005, she specializes in helping people work on improving their body image and overcoming eating disorders. Her expertise in this area comes from a variety of perspectives: she is a certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, a Health At Every Size (HAES) practitioner, and has served as a national health presenter for Cigna Health. Additionally, Rebecca is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. Rebecca will provide an understanding of eating, exercising and other body related behaviors that fall within the realm of disordered. Discuss how eating disorder thoughts and behaviors might be intensified by the current circumstances. Finally, discuss tools that will improve awareness and increase self- compassion during this time. Lastly, resources will be provided for those anyone struggling. **Session 2: Wednesday, May 13: Topic: How to manage mental wellbeing** Speakers Libby Rapin & Lisa Thompson, are the co-founders of Oh, Infinite Love, a company that teaches simple yet effective tools and techniques that bring play into people’s live by changing their perception. Lisa and Libby are both coaches, keynote speakers, and certificated in Positive Psychology and Mental Wellbeing. Libby and Lisa will discuss the current state of the nation related to mental wellbeing, provide the audience with an understanding of why investing in your mental wellbeing is important and how to manage through teaching tools and techniques. **June, July & August sessions will be added at a later time **
