Events: The Events Sub-Committee is responsible for the successful development and execution of events that promote Energize and provide value and professional development for its membership. The Events Sub-Committee will work closely with the Program Liaison and Treasurer to set event budgets, pricing and secure sponsorships. This includes identifying potential sponsors and creating sponsorship packages. They will also collaborate with the Marketing Sub-Committee to promote events effectively through social media, email campaigns, and other channels. This committee will work registration at events (when applicable) and follow up with attendees post event to thank them and solicit feedback for improvement. Key needs for delegation and support are Coffee Socials, YPN After 5, Golf Outing, December Outing and Lunch & Learns Membership: The Membership Sub-Committee is responsible for recruiting and attracting new Energize members and retaining membership. They manage and develop programs to help members stay connected to Energize and the community and encourage members to be actively involved by attending events and encouraging involvement on committees. The Membership Sub-Committee will foster a welcoming and inclusive environment, taking the lead on welcoming and making introductions at events. This committee will organize and host New Member Orientations and recruitment events. Key needs for delegation and support are New Member Orientations, Mentorship Program facilitation and recruitment events (tabling, business outreach, EOB). Marketing: The Marketing Sub-Committee is responsible for developing Energize promotions throughout the community and its members, ensuring that all communication and marketing materials align with Energize’s branding and messaging guidelines. They develop engaging content for social media that keeps the community informed about upcoming events, opportunities and Energize news. This sub-committee works closely with the Events Sub-Committee, ensuring that all Energize events are marketed effectively and in a timely manner. Key needs for delegation and support are Facebook event creation & LinkedIn event creation, Canva branding & production, content creation (event photos, shoutouts, etc.) on Facebook & LinkedIn and print materials creation.
