Good Samaritan Rescue Mission
Good Samaritan Rescue Mission has nearly 20 years of experience in addressing the most basic needs among people: emergency shelter, food, and clothing. Our services include:
Safe shelter, nutritious meals, and the opportunity to learn new life skills are all available to each of our guests. Good Samaritan Rescue Mission provides emergency shelter services for homeless men, women, mothers with children, fathers with children and intact families. A case manager assesses the immediate needs of each guest, then helps them to create a plan that leads our guests toward God honoring, sustainable solutions of permanent housing.
Almost without exception, guests can benefit from the free training on how to improve life skills. Our approach is to meet them where they are and offer new or sharpened skills for life and independence.
Samaritan Youth Shelter
Good Samaritan also operates the Samaritan Youth Shelter which provides short term emergency shelter services for homeless youth ages 12 to 17. Samaritan Youth Shelter (SYS) is licensed by the Michigan DHHS as a Child Caring Institution (CI090396004).
