Purpose
Advocacy is one of the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce’s strategic priorities: to maintain a leadership position in the Great Lakes Bay Region as an advocate for pro-business policies. The Advocacy Committee plays a vital role in advancing this mission by serving as the collective voice of our membership on public policy issues that impact the business community.The committee monitors local, state, and federal legislation, educates members on key issues, and engages with elected officials to ensure business interests are represented in the policymaking process.

The mission of the Great Lakes Bay Regional Hispanic Business Association is to serve the community and to promote and enhance Hispanic and professional business relationships that result in increased economic growth and development in the Great Lakes Bay Region. The GLBRHBA is the leading forum to address issues affecting Hispanic Businesses and Professionals of the Great Lakes Bay Region. The objectives of the GLBRHBA are to bring awareness to local Hispanic buisnesses and their owners, promote networking among members and local business organizations and to be of service to the community as a whole.
